This will be my creative modifications blog. To start, in addition to being a creative fiberartist, I am also a professional seamstress. I also enjoy doing alterations, and custom sewing. And I have decided to keep my two professions separate for the time being. Actually they are two separate things. I like the idea of creative modifications more that saying that I do alterations.
One thing a person should know about alterations is that that is just what it means. You alter the garment. And sometimes when you alter a garment, let's say you take a garment that is a size 20 and you want to make it a size 14. Well it can be done, but the shape and style of the garment will change. That is what makes it your own. Sometimes you will love it and sometimes you will hate it. That is why I call it Creative Modifications.
I can creatively modify your garment with just your measurements. Sometimes you might want a hem or the sides taken in. I will try to post some prices and try to make this happen as I continue to post on this blog. I will be posting some of the creative modifications that I have done. And you will be able to see what I mean and what I can do. We can even work this out where you can send me the garments and measurements and I can modify them and send them back. It will be fun.

Hi Stormee, thanks for dropping by my blog and for leaving a comment too! I know how to sew and do some modifications also but for personal consumption only hahahahaah! in fact my mother is also a dressmaker....
